The Asia Pacific Conference on Vision (APCV) was formerly known as the Asian Conference on Vision.

Following the 2006 meeting, held in Matsue Japan, the organizing commitee decided on a name change to better reflect the growing community of researchers attending the conference.

The conference aims to facilitate debate concerning vision research throughout the Asia-Pacific by bringing together scientists from the broad range of disciplines contributing to modern vision science, including visual psychophysics, neuroscience, computational vision and cognitive psychology.

The 2008 meeting will be held in Brisbane Australia.

Participants from all over the world regularly attend the meeting and are very welcome!

The program consists of invited lectures, symposia and contributed papers. Original contributions on all aspects of Vision Research will be invited once abstract submission opens.

  • Note: All presentations must be in English.
