ABOUT THE SOCIETY
The Australasian Society for Experimental Psychology has held annual meetings since 1974. The core goals of the society are to foster the next generation of Australasian experimental psychologists, and to serve as a platform for researchers of all career stages to share new ideas in an annual scientific exchange.
Our annual meeting is known as the Experimental Psychology Conference (EPC). It is hosted by a different Australasian University each year, creating opportunities for participants to become familiar with diverse local research communities. The meeting typically features presentations from 200 - 400 research students and academics from institutions all across Australasia.
We welcome presentations on all topics of experimental psychology, from researchers who can join with us at our meeting. The ongoing focus of the meeting is on questions that relate to human cognition and perception. Our researchers use methodologies inclusive of brain imagining, brain stimulation, computational modelling and psychophysics.
