available on a competitive basis from the University of Queensland:
UQ Postdoctoral Fellowship (3 years)
UQ POstdoctoral Research Fellowship for Women (3 years)
In both cases, one of the major assessment criteria is the alignment of the proposed research with existing faculty. So
we strongly encourage interested candidates to contact one of the centre's princpal investigators to discuss these options.
Other sources of funding include the Australian Research Council and the National Health and Medical Research Council.
Three postdoctoral fellowship schemes (Australian Postdoctoral Fellowships, Australian Research Fellowships and Queen Elizabeth II Fellowships) are available in conjunction with a Discovery Project grant.
Biomedical Career Development awards are available from the National Health and Medical Research Council.
